Clickfunnels was founded in Boise, Idaho in 2014 by two men Russell Brunson and Todd Dickerson. As many a successful tech venture Clickfunnels was born out of sheer frustration at the feature set of the funnel builders of the time. 

Russell and Todd got together for a week and mapped out their dream funnel app asking the all important question, “What if it could do this?” If it made sense it was added to the list and in the months that followed Todd got to work coding the platform and Russell sold it.

It's hard to believe that this is only four years ago because now Clickfunnels is the largest non-VC backed software company in the world with over $600M in sales.
