It is crucially important to build a list of prospects (a business asset) who are interested in what you have to say. 

There are many excellent options, including the free to use Mailchimp, which is great if you are just starting out. If you are looking for more advanced email marketing, Convertkit is excellent as it allows for lead tagging and personal brand messaging.

Mentioned in step 1 of finding your tribe, this is an excellent website to find out people’s questions and see which answers are being up voted by the community. If you place an answer of your own, you stand the chance of driving quality targeted traffic to your website. Looking at the answers you might also come up with an excellent blog post collating all the feedback. 

99 Cent Articles – Incredibly affordable writers

This is one of the best low cost providers of content writing services I have ever found. Some of their packages retail at just over $4 per article. Granted at this price their might be some grammatical errors here and there but as I say – best I used. 

AppSumo – Groupon for Entrepreneurs

Excellent deals on some of the best technology, software and apps for entrepreneurs. Their lifetime deals are the best and you can easily save 90% and more when shopping on their site.

Google Analytics  – free to use

Track the progress of your website. How many people are visiting, what they like most, what they are sharing and many other insights are available using this comprehensive platform.

Clicky  – free to start

Just like Google Analytics but far easier and nicer to use. I also find I can get actionable data far quicker than solely using Google Analytics. So yes, I use both.

Affiliate Networks

This is where you can find products to promote that are complimentary and not competitive to your business. There are many popular ones include Clickbank, Shareasale, Commission Junction and JVZoo. A google of “”affiliate networks will reveal hundreds more. It’s also important to remember that the product you are looking to promote might not be part of an affiliate network – they may have their own affiliate system. So simply Google “company name + affiliate” and you will often find what you are looking for. If you don’t, shoot them an email and ask to join it.
